Salary: £27,000 - 30,000 per year
Requirements: We would like you to have experience providing 1st line IT support, including problem diagnosis, troubleshooting, fixes, incident management, call logging, prioritisation, ticket management, and escalation of complex issues.We would like you to support a range of customer IT environments, including desktop PCs, servers, networks, IT infrastructure, peripherals, telephony, applications, software, hardware, and IT cyber security.We would like you to have experience with key technologies such as Windows Server, Office 365, firewalls, WDS, Intune, and Entra.We would like you to have knowledge of VMware or Hyper-V, hosted telecoms, IP telephony, Linux, AWS/Azure cloud, access control systems, BCDR, or CCTV IP.IT qualifications such as CompTIA, MCP, MCSE, MCSA, CCNA, CCNP, ITIL, ITSM, or Cyber Essentials would be advantageous.Experience working for an IT Managed Service Provider or IT support business is advantageous.A full UK driving licence is preferred. We are an established IT Managed Services business with a proven track record spanning more than 20 years. This is a permanent 1st Line IT Support Engineer role based in Derby with a hybrid working pattern: four days per week in our Derby office and one day per week working from home. The salary is £27,000 to £30,000 depending on experience, and our benefits include 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, your birthday off, hybrid working, pension, health care, and training and career development. We are ideally looking for someone to start in September or October 2026.
