Job Title: WelderJob DescriptionThe welder fabricates, assembles, and welds metal components used in the production of seating systems and related products. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, performing MIG welding, and operating fabrication equipment safely while maintaining high quality standards and meeting production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Responsibilities
• Fabricate and assemble metal components for seating systems and related products according to production requirements. • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine welding and fabrication specifications. • Perform MIG welding on a variety of metal parts, ensuring strong, clean, and accurate welds. • Fit and position components prior to welding to achieve precise alignment and proper dimensions. • Use grinding and other finishing techniques to prepare, smooth, and finish welded joints and surfaces. • Inspect completed welds and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards and product specifications. Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of welding experience in a manufacturing environment. • Proficiency in MIG welding and a basic understanding of welding fundamentals. • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings (experience preferred). • Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment. • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with fitting and grinding metal components in a production setting. • Familiarity with general fabrication processes and production workflows. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work from standardized procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
