Job Title: Order PickerJob DescriptionThis role focuses on assembling and picking orders within the shipping and CNC departments, using basic hand tools and computer systems to accurately process and verify parts. You will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, moving throughout the facility and standing for most of the day while ensuring orders are prepared, labeled, and ready for shipment.Responsibilities
• Assemble customer orders using basic hand tools and ensure all components are correctly included. • Pick orders accurately from warehouse inventory based on order documentation and part numbers. • Use a computer to enter order information, check part numbers, and update inventory and shipping records. • Perform picking, packaging, and labeling tasks to prepare orders for shipment. • Use RF scanners to locate, verify, and track inventory and orders within the warehouse. • Load and unload materials as needed to support shipping and receiving activities. • Operate pallet jacks to move pallets and materials safely throughout the warehouse. • Assist with warehouse inventory tasks, including counting, organizing, and maintaining stock levels. • Support warehouse packing operations by securely packing products for shipment. • Work closely with the shipping team to meet daily order fulfillment and shipping deadlines. • Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency. • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of required protective footwear. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MORTON GROVE, IL. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
