Job Overview The Planner/Scheduler II is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, streamline workflows, and enhance productivity. This role involves creating meticulous schedules, analyzing data for informed decision-making, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless execution of operational plans. On any given day, you’ll make a difference by: Developing and managing detailed operational schedules to meet production, service, or project deadlines Collaborating with various departments to gather input and create efficient plans that align with business goals Analyze data, including production metrics, resource availability, and demand forecasts, to inform scheduling decisions Identifying potential bottlenecks or risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate disruptions Optimizing resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to maximize efficiency Continuously monitoring and adjusting schedules as necessary to adapt to changing priorities or unforeseen circumstances Communicating schedules and plans effectively across teams to ensure alignment and understanding of objectives Evaluating and improving scheduling processes to enhance overall operational effectiveness What will help you thrive in this role? 1-3 years of experience (required) Proven experience in operations planning, scheduling, or a similar role within a dynamic environment (required) Proficiency in utilizing scheduling software, ERP systems, or other relevant tools for planning and analysis Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and convey scheduling information clearly Adaptability and resilience to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving operational environment #LI-EC1
