What will you do? The General Manager: Business Insurance Affiliates is responsible for providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and commercial direction for the Business Insurance Affiliates Department within a short-term insurance call centre environment. The role is responsible for driving sustainable growth through affiliate partnerships, lead generation channels, and insurance sales operations while ensuring compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements. The General Manager ensures that the department operates efficiently, adheres to FAIS, POPIA, Treating Customers Fairly (TCF), and other regulatory requirements, and consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences while achieving conversion, revenue, profitability, and quality targets. This senior leadership role requires extensive knowledge of short-term insurance distribution, call centre operations, affiliate management, and data-driven decision-making. The incumbent will leverage business intelligence and analytics to identify performance trends, coaching opportunities, operational bottlenecks, and growth opportunities. Minimum Requirements Minimum Qualification Grade 12 / Standard 10 / NQF 4 Relevant Tertiary qualification in Business Management, Insurance, Commerce, Finance, Marketing, or related field will be advantageous RE5 Qualification (preferred). FAIS-compliant regulatory requirements. Minimum Experience A minimum of 1 to 5 years sales experience in a call centre Previous team management experience in a call centre Short-term insurance experience in a call centre Minimum 2-5 years' senior management experience within a call centre, sales, insurance distribution, or affiliate busines environment.
