Volunteering Volunteers are integral to our mission, contributing to various projects that align with their skills and interests. While we welcome individuals from all professional and academic backgrounds, experience in archival studies, library sciences, marketing, or social media is particularly valued. We provide role-specific training to ensure every volunteer is well-prepared. We look for enthusiastic, curious, and computer-literate individuals interested in social history. Volunteering takes place at our office in The Hague on an agreed day of the week. We ask for a commitment of at least 6 hours per week for a minimum of 6 months. Our opening hours are from 10:00 to 16:00, Monday through Thursday. English is the working language. All applicants must hold a valid EU work permit. There are two main groups of volunteers: archival and content creator. Occasionally, we offer project-specific volunteering opportunities that may require particular skills.
