Area Finance Controlling Manager Maersk Accounting & Finance Posted on Aug 10, 2026 The Financial Controlling & Reporting Manager is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and transparency of the company's financial information through robust financial controls, governance, and reporting processes. This role leads the preparation and analysis of financial results, supports business decision-making through insightful financial analysis, and ensures compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. In addition to technical financial leadership, the role includes people management responsibilities, leading and developing a team of finance professionals while driving operational excellence and continuous improvement across the function. Key Responsibilities Financial Control & Reporting - Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial records, reporting, and disclosures. - Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages. - Maintain and strengthen financial control frameworks, ensuring compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements. - Review and analyze financial statements, profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, cash flow, working capital, and other key financial metrics. - Lead financial consolidation activities and ensure consistency and quality of reported information. - Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial modelling activities to enable informed business decisions. - Identify financial risks and recommend mitigation actions to safeguard business performance.
