Main duties of the job
To act as a prescription clerk, dealing with receiving requests from patients and/or representatives and allied professionals for prescriptions to fulfil medication requirements. Requests will be channelled via various sources ( e-mail, on-line). Ensuring patients are up to date with reviews and assisting and directing patients in booking the appropriate appointments to ensure their care is ongoing and that their health is reviewed at the appropriate time and with the appropriate clinical follow-up. A courteous and helpful manner must be maintained at all times.

Qualifications Essential
A good standard of general education, including: GCSEs (or equivalent) including English and Maths at 4 or above. A demonstrable commitment to professional development

Experience Essential
Previous experience in a healthcare or pharmacy environment. Experience of dealing with queries. Customer Service experience.
