Our dedicated Acute Care Team provides same-day care for patients with urgent problems.

As a Salaried GP you will undertake both routine and Acute Care work, giving you variety while maintaining a defined workload. Acute Care sessions have fixed patient numbers, rather than an open-ended list of patients continuing to arrive throughout the session.

Alongside this, you will have your own routine surgeries, allowing you to build continuity with patients and arrange your own follow-up where appropriate.

A team around you

One of the advantages of working in a practice of our size is the breadth of clinical support available.

Our team includes GPs alongside:

Advanced Practitioners Paramedic Practitioners Physician Associates Practice Nurses and Nurse Associates Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians Biomedical Scientists Healthcare Assistants Safeguarding Officers a substantial administrative and operational teamThis allows work to be shared with the most appropriate professional rather than everything defaulting to the GP.

About us

Our main site, Station Medical Centre, is a modern purpose-built primary care centre in the heart of Hereford.

We want HMG to be somewhere GPs can build a sustainable and enjoyable career. We support professional development, portfolio interests and opportunities to become involved in wider areas of practice life according to your interests.

Interested, but want to know more first?

You do not need to decide whether HMG is right for you from an advert.

We would be very happy to arrange an informal conversation or visit, giving you the opportunity to meet us, see how the practice works and talk to members of our GP team before applying.

Applications are welcomed from GPs at different stages of their career.

Come and see whether HMG could be the right next step for you.

This role must not be advertised or represented by third parties without written authorisation.

Job description Job responsibilities
