Roles and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented intern to join our leading Forensics, Risk and Compliance department. The role will report to a Manager within the Department.

This role is ideal for recent graduates interested in compliance, forensic investigations and risk management. You will gain hands-on experience supporting investigative work, compliance program execution, data analysis, and various risk mitigation initiatives.

The areas of responsibility include:

General

• Assisting in the implementation of business development strategies, including drafting proposals and thought leadership initiatives;

• Perform basic data analysis and visualization to support engagements;

• Conduct background research; and

• Assisting in the implementation of any other initiatives undertaken by the department.

Forensics and investigations

• Assist in conducting forensic investigations;

• Support evidence gathering, and documentation; and

• Support in drafting and transcribing interview notes, and data reviews.

Risk management and internal audit

• Assist in the development of audit work programs, walkthrough documentation, and testing procedures; and

• Participate in internal audit fieldwork and prepare working papers.

Experience and personal qualities

The following experience is preferred

• Recently completed a bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Engineering, IT, BBIT, or a related field.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of data analytics tools is an added advantage.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to develop creative ideas and transform them into practical reality.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

• Open-minded approach to learning from experienced forensic professionals.

• Strong ethical integrity, discretion and commitment to the Firm’s mission to confidentiality.
