The Opportunity
You'll play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of clients and assisting the partners and managers in the completion of Audit assignments and drafting statutory accounts, either individually or as part of a team to agreed budgets and deadlines. All Audits are allocated to a manager so you will be working with the support and guidance of managers who have been with the firm for many years. What You'll Be Doing
As our Audit and Accounts Semi Senior, you'll be responsible for:
Planning audit assignments, identifying key risks, assessing how to test them, assessing and reviewing the budgets through to completing an analytical reviewLeading smaller audits, supervising, delegating and reviewing work of traineesAccounts preparation including corporation tax Delivering information to clients in a timely manner whilst displaying in-depth client and industry knowledgeMonitoring your chargeability and your assignment budgets pro-activelyDeveloping specialist sector knowledge and keep abreast of industry developments What We're Looking For
Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a practice focusing on SME / Owner Managed ClientsIdeally a mixture of Audit/Accountancy/Corporate Tax experience with Audit being essentialACA/ ACCA part qualifiedFamiliarity with MyWorkpapers and Iris would be advantageous Ability to work on assignments either individually or as part of the small team that we haveBe authentic in every situation and like to be connected to your team, clients and local communitiesLike to listen and understand, to show up every day with passion and to stand up for things that matter to youEnthusiastic and positive attitudeBe driven to succeed, take initiative and want result Most importantly, we're looking for someone who shares our values, enjoys working collaboratively and is passionate about delivering great results.
