About this role
Law - at the intersection of business and government globally - offers real opportunities for reporters looking to cover an intellectually-challenging beat for a high-level audience. We have an opening for an experienced reporter looking for their next step in their career, to cover arbitration (a way of resolving international disputes between companies) for the market leader in the space, Global Arbitration Review (GAR). The right candidate is a reporter who can deepen GAR's well-established reputation for sourcing the must-read intelligence in the field, based on both our proprietary data and on the leads you are able to find and turn into must-read articles. Join an expert team in a strong information business, and challenge yourself to produce the highest-level specialist content for an engaged and senior audience. Write complex and high-value content demonstrating specialist knowledge, which serves the platform's audience well. Use data - both our proprietary data and that self-sourced from elsewhere - to find and tell stories in a way which is persuasive and convincing. Source exclusive news and analysis, including wholly original content, and generate ideas for long-form content (such as interviews, roundtables, surveys) which further the brand’s goals and engage the audience. Report on events, digitally, locally or internationally, in a timely, accurate and balanced way. Use the content from events and / or contacts made there to generate ideas for other content for the platform. Represent the brand in client meetings and at conferences and networking events, in London and internationally. Build personal reputation as knowledgeable, trusted representative of the brand.
