Reporting to the Security Manager, you will lead and support a team of Security Officers to deliver a high-quality, professional security service across the University campus. You will play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment for staff, students and visitors, while acting as a visible role model for standards, conduct and performance As Security Team Leader, you will lead, motivate and support a team of Security Officers, ensuring the highest standards of professionalism, safety and customer service. You'll oversee day-to-day security operations, including patrols, building access, alarms and campus safety, while taking the lead during operational and critical incidents. The role includes managing team performance, delivering training and briefings, ensuring compliance with health and safety and SIA requirements, maintaining operational equipment, and fostering a positive, inclusive team culture with a focus on staff development and wellbeing.
