A vacancy has arisen for a Domestic Assistant to join our Pine View team within Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust.
We are looking for staff who are enthusiastic, motivated, and have good interpersonal and communication skills to work as part of our team.
The post will assist in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment for patients, Trust staff, and visitors, in line with the National Standards of Cleanliness, by delivering a full cleaning service within the centre.
Shifts will be every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, from 8am to 4pm.
Main duties of the job
Generally, Domestic Assistants will undertake the following cleaning tasks and duties during a domestic clean:
High- and low-level dusting. Cleaning of bedrooms and bathrooms. Cleaning of offices and communal spaces. Dusting and polishing of shelves, picture frames, units, etc.

Qualifications and Knowledge Essential
2 GCSEs/O levels English and Maths or demonstrable experience Knowledge of HACCP and COSHH Understanding of current Food Safety Legislation
Desirable
Understanding of health promotion through healthy eating
Experience Essential
Previous working experience with HACCP and COSHH Working knowledge of keeping track of cleaning materials
Desirable
Previous experience of cleaning Previous experience working mental Health / Community Services or similar environment
Skills and Competencies Essential
Team player as well as being able to work on your own Confident, adaptable, and flexible in approach to working practices

Demonstrate an understanding of the needs of people with mental health problems. Ability to work under pressure and be able to prioritise/meet deadlines.
