Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) on Ward 22 in Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

Candidates should have experience within the field of Adult Mental Health.

Ward 22 is a 14 bedded Acute Psychiatric assessment and treatment Ward for all adults within RCT & Bridgend.

To undertake the role of named nurse providing assessment, implementation of care and treatment and evaluation.

Ensure the care given is patient centred, multi-disciplinary, collaborative and evidence based.

Please note: We welcome applications from registered nurses; however, this role is not suitable for student nurses who have not yet obtained NMC registration. Candidates must be registered with the NMC at the point of application.

This isn't 'fluency', just Speaking & Listening skills at Level 3 (equivalent to CEFR B2) or above. The Health Board currently operate a number of different shift systems. The most common are a 12.5 hour shift, inclusive of either one 30 minute or two 30-minute unpaid breaks. These shift patterns are subject to review and the Health Board reserves the right to change working arrangements. CTM is a Health Board committed to meaningful consultation with staff and to making balanced decisions that consider all aspects of our service and workforce.
