Main duties of the job Agincare Homes Holdings is seeking a dedicated Bank Registered Nurse for a permanent position in Dursley. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of residents. As a Registered Nurse, you will lead a team of care staff to ensure high-quality care. Key responsibilities include assisting with personal care, liaising with various stakeholders, administering medication, monitoring nutrition, and participating in resident activities. You should have at least 12 months work eligibility in the UK, a valid NMC pin, and ideally experience in a care home setting. The role requires flexibility for day, night, and weekend shifts, and is offered on a zero-hour contract. Responsibilities will include Assisting residents with personal care in accordance with their individual care plans Liaising with care home management, family members, social workers, medical professionals and the resident themselves in ensuring the care provision meets their individual requirements and making recommendations based on changes in care need. Administering and recording medication safely in line with company policy Monitoring resident nutrition and hydration and taking steps to update nutrition plans with any revised dietary requirements. Monitoring residents for risks around pressure wounds and any abnormalities regarding toilet output.
