Euro Logistics is seeking an experienced and motivated HGV Mechanic to join our growing fleet maintenance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified diesel mechanic with extensive experience working on heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and commercial fleets. Key Responsibilities Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs, trailers, and commercial fleet vehicles. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults. Perform engine, gearbox, clutch, brake, and transmission overhauls. Conduct vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure maximum fleet reliability. Prepare vehicles for roadworthiness testing and ensure compliance with all safety regulations. Complete maintenance records and job documentation accurately. Participate in breakdown and standby support when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment. Requirements Qualified Diesel Mechanic / HGV Mechanic with recognised trade certification. Proven experience working on Volvo, Scania, Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Nissan UD, FAW or similar heavy commercial vehicles. Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills. Experience with engine rebuilds, hydraulic systems, air brake systems, and vehicle servicing. Knowledge of commercial vehicle roadworthiness standards and fleet maintenance schedules.
