Job Title: Artic & Rigid Tipper Driver Employer: Royalbridge Limited Location: Summerhill, Co. Meath, with travel to project sites as required Salary: €37,544 per annum Hours: 40 hours per week Job Description Royalbridge Limited is seeking an experienced HGV Driver to operate articulated and rigid tipper vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting construction and excavation materials safely and efficiently between project sites, loading areas and other designated locations. Main Responsibilities • Operate articulated and rigid HGV tipper vehicles safely and efficiently. • Transport materials including soil, stone and aggregates between sites and designated locations. • Carry out daily vehicle safety checks, including tyres, brakes, lights and fluid levels. • Ensure loads are safely distributed and secured before travelling. • Follow assigned routes, delivery schedules and site instructions. • Maintain accurate tachograph, driving-time, mileage and working-time records. • Comply with road safety, drivers' hours, tachograph and company procedures. • Report any vehicle defects, mechanical faults or safety concerns promptly. • Operate tipping equipment safely when loading and unloading materials. • Keep the vehicle clean, safe and in good working condition. Requirements • Valid Category CE driving licence, or equivalent licence category recognised by the Road Safety Authority under a mutual recognition agreement. • Previous professional HGV driving experience, preferably operating articulated and/or rigid tipper vehicles. • Good knowledge of road safety, drivers' hours and tachograph requirements. • Clean driving record. • Ability to carry out routine vehicle checks and maintain accurate driving records. • Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card, or ability to obtain/complete the relevant requirements before commencing professional driving in Ireland. • Safe Pass, or ability to obtain it before commencing work on construction sites. • Where applicable, employment is subject to the successful grant of the relevant Irish Employment Permit and immigration permission.
