Assist the Director of Cardiovascular Services in the direction and coordination of the activities of the assigned division in order to execute daily operations and meet the objectives of the hospital Plan for the Provision of Patient Care.
• Implements standards and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care delivered and operations of departments. • Has administrative and for program development responsibility within the assigned departments. • Works collaboratively with medical staff and hospital administration to personalize the Piedmont Medical Center strategic plan. • Leads and participates in development of programs and services to meet the needs of the community. • Performs related duties as required.
• Required: • Education: Bachelor degree, attending a Bachelors program, or comparable experience • Experience: • 5 to 7 years of experience in an acute care facility including at least 5 years experience in the specialty area • Management experience
• Licensure/Certification: • Minimum of CRT • American Heart Association BLS CPR required, must be obtained within 7 days of hire • American Heart Association ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications are required within orientation period • Current Respiratory Therapy Licensure through South Carolina Medical Examiner’s office required
• Preferred: • Experience: Recent Respiratory Therapy experience in NICU environment is preferred
