POSITION: Special Education Teacher (2 positions) (These are vacancies due to one year leaves of absence) Furnace Brook Middle School STARTING DATE: September 2026 (teachers begin Tuesday, September 1, 2026) for the 2026-2027 School Year SALARY: Teacher Salary Schedule ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIP OR LINE OF AUTHORITY: Reports directly to Special Education Department Head, Building Principal, and Assistant Superintendent Student Services QUALIFICATIONS:
• Master's preferred.
• MA DESE License: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (PreK-8 or 5-12).
• Ability to relate well with middle school students and collaborate with teachers and support staff effectively.
