Songo Locks School seeks an organized, flexible, and reliable individual able to work effectively in any and all school settings as a permanent substitute. In addition to strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ideal candidate possesses knowledge of and experience with: Effective classroom management strategies, including establishing and maintaining routines and procedures Building and maintaining supportive relationships with students Maintain confidentiality Be a team player and have communication skills with students, staff, and parents The permanent substitute is a school year position, student days only not to exceed 129 hours per month. Experience and familiarity with office procedures and classroom instruction - preferred CHRC/Fingerprint approval - Required MANDATED BY THE STATE OF MAINE: visit: https://www.maine.gov/doe/cert/fingerprinting/ to complete process. This is a two-part process with a total cost of $70. BOTHPARTS MUST BE COMPLETED OR YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE APPROVAL AND WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WORK IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS. MEIS NUMBER REQUIRED
