About this role
RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists in orienting students to classroom and school routines, appropriate behaviors, and procedures. Designs and/or delivers instruction to remediate identified skill deficits based on data. Works with individuals or small groups, in or out of the classroom. Administers, scores, and records assessments as needed. Works collaboratively with teachers, Instructional Coordinators, and administrators regularly to review student progress. Maintains ethical behavior and confidentiality of information regarding students and colleagues. Participates in ongoing in-service training programs as assigned. Exhibits a positive, professional attitude with supervisors, co-workers, students, and the community. Performs any other duties as assigned by the building administrator.
QUALIFICATIONS: Associate's degree - required Ed Tech Certification and fingerprinting - required Elementary school experience – preferred Skilled at building relationships and developing a positive learning environment Know effective instructional practices - including how to differentiate Able to work collaboratively with a team to use data to drive instruction Flexibility and responsiveness to students’ needs
