ANTICIPATED VACANCIES Briggs Elementary, Maquoketa Middle School, Maquoketa High School Special Education Para Educators 2026-2027 School Year

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Successful Interview

• Desire to work with elementary students

• Desire to work with students who are eligible for special education services

• Possess excitement and energy towards student learning

• Positive mindset and flexible

• Able to collaborate with a team and open to new ideas

Duties:

• Work under supervision of teacher

• Assist with students who are eligible for special education services in the classroom with peers in addition to support in a small classroom setting

• Attend professional learning assigned by building Principal and Curriculum Director

• Check email on a daily basis

Preference will be given to the candidate who:

• Possesses the best qualifications

• Presents the strongest interview

Rate of Compensation:

• 7 hours per day

• Rate of pay per 2025-26 Support Staff Settlement Conditions
