Join the Bethany Team! Bethany Community School has a need for a grant funded full-time Speech and Language Pathologist or Assistant for the 2026-2027 school year. Salary Range: $57,934 to $100,650 per Bethany Education Association Contract Benefits: Comprehensive Health and Welfare Benefits per the Bethany Education Association Contract. Minimum Requirements:
• Valid Connecticut Certification in Speech and Language Pathology or required SLPA course work and certification.
• 1 to 3 years of Elementary speech-language experience is preferred.
• Experience with Scientific Research-Based Intervention (SRBI) is preferred.
• Certification in Physical Management Training (PMT) is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of instructional technology in support of student learning.
• Ability to meet the needs of all learners.
• Strong organizational, recordkeeping, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Must possess good judgment in the supervision of, management of, and communication with students.
The Bethany Community School is an elementary school (grades PK to 6) located in central Bethany on an extensive rural campus. The school offers a supportive leadership team and staff and extensive instructional resources.
