Job summary
This is a full-time post and the post holder will be part of the department of Anaesthesia, in the Core Clinical Services Directorate. This is a 10 PA per week post. This position is a substantive appointment with a 1:16 on-call commitment.
Main duties of the job
As a member of the anaesthetic department you will be expected to deliver specialist paediatric care throughout the perioperative period. This will include the preoperative preparation of patients, their intraoperative care and to ensure a safe postoperative environment.

Academic/Professional qualification/Training Essential
GMC specialist registration with a Licence to Practice (obtained by designated start date) FRCA or equivalent CCT/CCST in Anaesthesia or equivalent training and experience (eligible for CESR) A year or more of recognised specialist paediatric anaesthesia training
