Slough Community Diagnostic Centre at Upton -- newly opening Wexham Park Hospital, Slough Heatherwood Elective Centre, Ascot St Mark's Hospital, Maidenhead King Edward VII Hospital, Windsor Whether you are taking your first steps as a qualified Radiographer or looking to build on your existing experience, we can offer you the training, support and opportunities to take your career to the next level.

Main duties of the job

You will gain excellent opportunities to develop your career within our modern, well equipped and continuously expanding radiology imaging service within the following areas: General, Interventional Radiography, Fluoroscopy, Theatres, Dental and CT. We work on a rotational roster which includes weekends, night shifts and extended day shifts. We also have busy MRI and Ultrasound units. We have new DR/CR X- ray equipment as well as state of the art CT and MRI scanners across Wexham Park and Heatherwood sites. We have an exceptional track record for supporting ongoing professional development.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

HCPC Registration D.C.R. or B.Sc. Radiography or equivalent Evidence of C.P.D.

Experience Essential

Previous general radiographic experience.

Desirable

Experience working as an Assistant Practitioner Experience of working in the NHS.

Skills Essential

Must communicate effectively at all levels Good customer care attitude Able to clinically supervise junior staff and students IT literate and ability to navigate several interlinked digital and IT systems.
