Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionPerform general warehouse duties including loading/unloading trucks, palletizing, staging, and moving materials. Assist in shipping and receiving operations, ensuring proper documentation and handling of materials. Pick, pack, and prepare materials for production and outbound shipments. Support inventory cycle counts and stock replenishment. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines, including PPE requirements. Assist with material movement to and from production lines to support continuous manufacturing flow. Responsibilities • Load and unload trucks, and manage palletizing and staging of materials. • Assist in shipping and receiving operations with accurate documentation. • Prepare materials for production and outbound shipments. • Conduct inventory cycle counts and facilitate stock replenishment. • Adhere to standard operating procedures and safety guidelines, including the use of PPE. • Support material movement to and from production lines to ensure continuous manufacturing flow. Essential Skills • Experience in general labor, production, and packing within a manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Reliable transportation. • Ability to work a 12-hour continental shift. • Capability to work in a hot environment. • Ability to lift 40lbs or more. • Material handling and assembly skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Forklift experience is advantageous and training is available for advancement. • Experience working in non-climate controlled, hot environments. • Familiarity with continental shifts. If positions are available, employees may transfer to the NextStar facility. The work environment can be hot and is not climate-controlled. Overtime shifts are always available. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, ON. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.60 - $18.60/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
