*Position Summary:*

We are seeking a *Stewarding Supervisor* to join our Culinary team. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the stewarding staff, ensuring cleanliness and sanitation of all kitchen areas, proper maintenance of equipment, and smooth back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains high standards, and supports the success of the culinary team.

*Key Responsibilities:*

* Supervise daily stewarding operations including dishwashing, kitchen cleaning, and waste management. * Train, schedule, and support stewarding team members. * Ensure compliance with health & safety, and sanitation standards. * Monitor and maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, storage areas, and workspaces. * Collaborate with Culinary and Food & Beverage leaders to support banquet and restaurant operations. * Control stewarding inventory, chemicals, and supply usage. * Lead by example, maintaining a positive, team-focused work environment.

*Qualifications:*

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Previous supervisory experience in a stewarding, dishwashing, or back-of-house role (hospitality or resort experience an asset). * Strong organizational and communication skills. * Knowledge of sanitation guidelines and safe chemical handling. * Ability to motivate and coach team members effectively. * Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. * Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Pay: $19.60 per hour
