POSITION SUMMARY
The Snowboard Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the ski school, including lesson assignments, staff coordination, and instructor training. Building on experience as a skilled instructor, the supervisor ensures that skiing and snowboarding lessons are delivered in a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for both children and adults (aged 12+). By applying knowledge of teaching principles and movement analysis, the supervisor supports instructor development, facilitates on-snow training, and helps deliver a consistent, positive guest experience across all ski school programs.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE/ SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
• Required: Level 2 PSIA/AASI Certification
• Required: Ability to ski and/or snowboard at an intermediate to advanced level.
• Required: Ability to teach entry to advanced level Skiers and Snowboarders.
• Required: Must be able to work the majority of the 25/26 Holiday Dates: November 26th – 30th, December 20th – January 4th, January 17th – 19th, and February 14th – 22nd.
• Required: Must be able to pass a background check.
• Required: Excellent English communication skills.
• Required: Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
• Required: Ability to work under pressure, multi-task and prioritize tasks.
• Required: Ability to work with people of all ages, especially children.
• Preferred: Level 3 PSIA/AASI Certification.
• Preferred: Able to work 3+ days per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Must be able to work 20+ shifts minimum throughout the season
• Assign instructors to group and private lessons.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels throughout day, including cutting staff to match business levels.
• Facilitate on-snow training for instructors, when needed.
• Observe all applicable safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service skills.
• Assist in general operation of all ski school activities.
• Provide information and answer questions about the resort to the resort guests.
• Any other duties that may contribute to the cleanliness, orderliness and overall efficiency of the entire operation and all of the tasks contained therein.
• Shovel/snow removal when needed.
• Set up/take down of Ski School staging areas.
• Operation of both Conveyor Belts.
• Complete all required paperwork: Class cards, time sheets, incident reports etc.
• Attend assigned trainings.
• Assist in preparing lesson plans for upcoming lessons.
• Performs other related tasks as necessary.
