About the role

We’re looking for a University Recruitment & Conversion Executive (Asia) to join our University Partnerships and Placement team and help more international students successfully progress to university.

Working across the Asia region, you’ll build strong relationships with Study Centres, university partners and other stakeholders, support students throughout their progression journey, and use your knowledge of the market to help improve recruitment and conversion.

You’ll have the opportunity to represent NCUK across the region, develop your experience within international education and play a hands-on role in helping students take their next step into higher education.

What you’ll do

• Contribute to NCUK’s international student placement, conversion and recruitment targets across the region.

• Represent NCUK and our progression opportunities in regional markets through in-person, online and virtual engagement.

• Build strong relationships with Study Centre counsellors, partner universities and other key stakeholders, acting as an Account Lead for Study Centre conversion and counselling teams.

• Identify barriers to conversion and work with colleagues to improve Study Centre performance and the student experience throughout the application and enrolment journey.

• Provide market intelligence, data and regional insight to help inform country strategies, student communications and conversion activity.

• Support the growth of NCUK’s direct placement services and use systems and data effectively to help improve student conversion and placement outcomes.

What you’ll bring

We’d love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following essential criteria:

• Educated to degree level or hold an equivalent qualification.

• Experience in a customer-facing B2B or B2C environment, including working effectively with people from different countries and cultures.

• An outcomes-focused and target-oriented approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, solve problems and adapt when needed.

• Strong analytical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to interpret and present information and identify opportunities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence and diplomacy to influence people at different levels and build trusted relationships.

It would be a bonus if you also have:

• Experience in international student recruitment, conversion or higher education, with an understanding of international higher education markets.

• Experience working with agents or counselling teams and using CRM or student management systems.
