As the Construction Manager, you will provide clear leadership to both project teams, engineering and commercial teams to ensure that projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and ensuring HSE efficiency and quality goals and objectives are met and maintained on Company and Client sites. You will ensure site follow statutory standards, company and Client policies and procedures, particularly those standards, policies and procedures that relate to personal safety of team members and others. Other responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Site management of construction team including the responsibility for all tendering, development, construction, financial, safety and quality issues involved in these works • Participate in the contract Partnering arrangement that jointly addresses the Client and Company requirements About You
• Must be a qualified Electrical Fitter Mechanic with Queensland Electrical Work Licence • Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an operational substation • Demonstrated renewable energy projects and/or substation construction or expansion experience. • Extensive experience in the planning, set-up, and execution of works. • Be able to work effectively within a small team (approx. 14–15 personnel) • Ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of Client policies, procedures, and guidelines • Current Driver’s Licence
