Job Title: ADE – Field Sales Representative (Minneapolis / St. Paul)Job DescriptionThis role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a new local delivery partner program by recruiting small businesses across the Minneapolis and St. Paul regions. You will visit prospective businesses in person, present the benefits of joining the delivery partner program, guide them through the application process, and support them through to launch. You will collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors, leverage CRM tools to manage your pipeline, and help organize community-based recruitment events. The position involves regular travel of up to a two-hour driving distance and offers uncapped commission based on the successful conversion of partners. Responsibilities • Visit prospective small businesses door to door in targeted towns within up to a two-hour driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program. • Present and pitch the new delivery program opportunity to prospective businesses and generate interest in applying. • Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them through the full application process. • Lead and track sales and recruitment activities using a CRM system, managing and updating the pipeline in Salesforce. • Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting recruitment events in the community, such as lunch-and-learn sessions and town hall meetings. • Partner with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and expand outreach. • Import and maintain prospect and partner data by uploading Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis. • Drive referrals through community organizations and build strong community partnerships with small businesses. • Provide exceptional customer service and clear communication to prospective and newly onboarded partners throughout the recruitment and onboarding process. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues for applicants in the field, ensuring a smooth application and launch experience. • Manage daily travel schedules efficiently to maximize in-field recruitment activity across assigned territories. • Collaborate with other local contractors and team members to share insights, best practices, and progress updates. Essential Skills • 1–2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service. • Outside or field sales experience required. • CRM experience required, with Salesforce strongly preferred. • Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to build rapport quickly with small business owners. • Strong communication skills, including clear verbal presentation and active listening abilities. • Proven ability to manage and track leads, activities, and pipeline within a CRM system. • Attention to detail and the ability to accurately maintain and update data in spreadsheets and CRM tools. • Problem-solving skills to support applicants and resolve issues in the field. • Tech-savvy, with experience working with multiple systems and technology platforms. • Ability to travel up to four hours round-trip daily within the assigned territory. • Professionalism, reliability, and a high sense of urgency when working with customers and partners. • Enthusiasm for working with others and collaborating in a team environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Bilingual skills in Spanish or Somali are a strong plus. • Prior field sales experience is a plus beyond the minimum requirement. • Experience in roles involving sales and/or negotiation with customers is a plus. • Experience building relationships with community organizations, chambers of commerce, or local business associations is beneficial. • Interest in supporting small businesses and building long-term community partnerships. Work EnvironmentThis is a primarily field-based role with a mix of in-person and remote work. You will spend approximately four to five days per week in the field visiting small businesses across the Minneapolis and St. Paul regions, traveling up to four hours round trip daily within a two-hour driving radius. The remainder of your work, such as updating Salesforce, importing Excel data, and preparing for events, will be completed remotely. You will use technology tools including Salesforce and spreadsheets to manage leads and track partner progress. The role offers uncapped commission, with earnings per partner based on milestones such as application, readiness to launch, and successful launch plus two weeks. You may be eligible for paid time off after a successful performance review period. The position includes reimbursement for mileage and a monthly phone bill expense, supporting the costs associated with frequent travel and mobile work. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $31.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
