About this role

Job Title: Logistics AnalystJob DescriptionThe Logistics Analyst is responsible for expediting materials and services to ensure on-time delivery for projects and operations. This role manages supplier commitments, tracks shipments, resolves delivery issues, and partners with internal teams to maintain material availability and minimize schedule impacts.Responsibilities

• Manage expediting activities for assigned suppliers and materials, securing delivery commitments and shipment schedules. • Monitor orders and shipments, identify risks, and drive recovery actions for late or critical deliveries. • Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, brokers, and warehouses to ensure timely and accurate deliveries. • Resolve shipment, documentation, customs, and quality-related issues, escalating when necessary. • Maintain accurate purchase order and delivery status in ERP/MRP systems. • Partner with Buyers, Planners, Project Managers, and Site Materials teams to align delivery schedules and material requirements. • Support critical projects, outages, and turnarounds through material tracking and reporting. • Produce supplier performance and on-time delivery reports. • Use Excel and business intelligence tools to analyze performance and identify improvement opportunities. Essential Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Logistics, or related field; OR Associate degree with 3+ years of relevant experience; OR 4+ years of expediting, materials, logistics, or supply chain experience. • Experience expediting materials and managing supplier performance. • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and shipment documentation (BOLs, ASNs, etc.). • Experience coordinating logistics with suppliers, carriers, and warehouses. • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. • Proficiency with Excel and basic data analysis. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, utility, or large-scale project environments. • Familiarity with supplier scorecards, on-time delivery metrics, claims, and chargeback processes. • Experience supporting outages, turnarounds, or other schedule-driven operations. Work EnvironmentThis role operates onsite at a downtown headquarters facility, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The position is based in an office environment and involves frequent use of ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets, and business intelligence tools to manage purchase orders, shipments, and inventory data. The work requires regular interaction with internal teams and external suppliers, carriers, and logistics partners, with a focus on timely communication and coordination. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
