Job Title: General Production WorkerJob DescriptionThe General Production Worker performs simple, repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment, either as a general labourer or as a bend cell operator. In this role, you work with stainless steel tubing and operate single-process or multi-process machines to support the production of components used in bus frames, exhaust systems, air bags, and other tubing applications.Responsibilities
• Perform general labour tasks on stainless steel tubing, focusing on a single process such as loading tubes into deburring machines, perforators, or other single-process equipment. • Operate bend cell machinery by loading tubes into the cell and monitoring the robotic arm as it bends tubing to specified shapes. • Handle subsequent processing steps for bent tubes, including cutting, deburring, and washing, to meet quality and production standards. • Use quality and measurement tools to inspect tubing and verify that parts meet required specifications and tolerances. Essential Skills
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience, including exposure to quality or measurement tools. • Proven experience as a machine operator or general labourer in a production environment. • Experience in automotive manufacturing or metal industry operations. • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail and consistency. • Capability to operate basic manufacturing machinery and follow machine operating procedures.
