Job Title: Wiring TechnicianJob DescriptionThe Wiring Assembler will interpret electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems, including switchgears and panels. This role involves repetitive work in a production facility, where you will learn to wire a panel based on schematics and repeat this process to meet production volume. Responsibilities • Interpret and work from electrical schematics to assemble and wire electrical power systems. • Use hand tools and power drills to perform sub-panel layouts, drill, and tap holes with minimal supervision. • Wire sub-pans, door devices, and other power equipment according to ISO standards and drawings. • Perform daisy chaining and wire simple relay circuits with minimal supervision. • Mount all pertinent equipment and perform mechanical assembly on switchgear/switchboard. • Wire and route harnesses neatly with or without the use of wire loom. • Understand the difference between A/C and D/C voltages and perform wiring duties accurately and timely. • Crimp wires and use hardware such as screws, bolts, nuts, and washers according to ISO Procedures Manual. • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor. Essential Skills • Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics. • Strong mechanical aptitude. • Proficiency in using hand/power tools and a tape measure. • Experience in electrical assembly and wiring. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience with point-to-point wiring. • Background in Siemens, Raytheon, military, or HVAC is beneficial. • Preferred experience in electrical assembly. The facility provides all necessary tools and ample workspace, allowing employees to wear comfortable clothing. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of ALPHARETTA, GA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
