Job Title: Wire Harness AssemblerJob DescriptionAs a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be responsible for binding wires or cables to form wire harnesses used in electronic and electrical systems. You will work in a highly organized setting following detailed instructions from a screen, and your role will require you to read electrical wiring plans and tie the wire together according to specifications. Responsibilities • Follow safety standards and policies. • Wear personal protective clothing. • Learn to read drawings and schematics. • Operate a computer. • Follow step-by-step assembly procedures. • Meet production expectations. • Participate in the Lean Program (5S Program). Essential Skills • Manufacturing experience. • Electrical helper or mechanical skill set. • Experience with hand tools and power tools. • Assembly experience. • Ability to follow work instructions from a screen. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Crimping. • Small wiring experience. • Ability to work independently and as a team player. • Bi-lingual proficiency. • Ethical and conscientious work ethic. • Computer proficiency in English. • Punctuality and consistent attendance. • Ability to follow company policies and procedures. Work EnvironmentYou will work in a very clean environment with a normal shift starting at 4am, lasting 8-12 hours per day, with some overtime on weekends. The role involves sitting at a workstation and using a touch screen. Physical abilities required include sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, pushing carts and storage racks, and lifting up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
