Job DescriptionSet-up, clean, and monitor machine operations according to standard operating instructions. Understand department safety, quality and regulatory requirements, and production goals; actively engage in meeting these goals. Move and inspect raw materials and products to ensure there are no visual defects; take corrective action as needed.Responsibilities
• Perform checks to ensure accuracy per product specifications, ensure overall product quality, and track in manual logs or computer systems to capture deviations and quality traceability data. • Interrupt machine operation as necessary to correct operating problems; minimize production of materials that do not meet specifications by quickly taking action and using investigative, troubleshooting, and mechanical skills. • Accurately measure work in process (WIP) and finished goods. • Perform troubleshooting to solve equipment malfunctions. • Conduct handling and mixing of chemicals according to prescribed formulas and procedures. • Contain, label, store, and transfer hazardous waste according to procedures. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
