Job Title: MachinistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Machinist to join our team and assist in managing the backlog in our Sheet Metal Mechanic department. This role involves operating various machines on a 1st shift schedule, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Responsibilities • Operate and maintain sheet metal machinery effectively. • Read and interpret complex blueprints and specifications. • Perform layout and drilling of holes, and install fasteners, bearings, bushings, and countersinks. • Apply sealants, primers, and paints as required. • Utilize hand and power tools during assembly processes. Essential Skills • Minimum of three years of experience in aircraft/aerospace manufacturing assembly. • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and work instructions. • Experience with varied and complicated assemblies. • Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • Strong work ethic and attention to detail. • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. • Excellent hand-eye coordination.
