In this 90-day contract role, you will perform general labor, assembly, and packaging tasks to support the production of high-reliability electronics and hardware used in real-world technical applications.Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical components according to work instructions and quality standards. • Use basic hand tools and a tape measure to perform precise measurements, cuts, and fittings. • Perform general labor and shop help tasks to support daily production operations. • Package finished products carefully to prevent damage and ensure safe shipment or storage. • Pick and organize parts, materials, and components needed for production orders. • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines while working with tools and equipment. • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area to support a safe and productive environment. • Collaborate with team members and engineering staff to meet production goals and timelines. • Identify and communicate any issues with parts, tools, or assemblies to the appropriate team members. • Support the production of high-reliability, real-world technical products by consistently delivering accurate and reliable work. Essential Skills

• Experience performing general labor or shop help in a production or manufacturing environment. • Ability to use basic hand tools safely and effectively. • Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately. • Experience with basic assembly tasks, preferably involving electrical or mechanical components. • Ability to perform packaging and picking tasks in a structured, process-driven environment. • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adhere to established procedures. • Reliability and punctuality for a standard daytime, Monday–Friday schedule. The setting is a light manufacturing and lab environment where you will handle electronics and hardware using standard hand tools and measurement devices, following established safety and quality practices. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Paul, MN. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
