Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianJob DescriptionThis role is a multicraft maintenance technician position within a composite pipe manufacturing environment. You will perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair on production equipment, including helical winder machines, conveyors, material handling equipment, and saws. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and installing electrical systems and mechanical components, as well as welding and fabrication work to support equipment reliability and facility improvements.Essential Skills
• At least 4+ years of maintenance experience with a strong focus on electrical repairs and troubleshooting on drives, electrical motors, and panel building. • Hands-on experience with mechanical repairs, including hydraulics and pneumatics. • Ability to weld and fabricate parts and equipment for repairs and installations. • Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including working with circuits, schematics, and three-phase electrical systems. • Experience with electrical maintenance and troubleshooting of motor starter circuits up to 480V and 24V DC circuits. • Demonstrated capability to repair and maintain gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics, chains, sprockets, and bearings. • Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment. • Ability to perform maintenance repairs on production equipment such as helical winder machines, conveyors, material handling equipment, and saws. Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a non-air-conditioned, open-air shop environment typical of heavy manufacturing operations. The position is on third shift, running from 10:30 pm to 7:00 am, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays as required to support production and maintenance needs. The setting is hands-on, industrial, and fast-paced, requiring comfort with working on the shop floor and adhering to safety procedures... Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX 77038. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
