General Production Worker (Contract) Key Responsibilities
• Perform mechanical assembly using hand tools and follow work instructions. • Pick, count, bag, and label parts accurately for production needs. • Follow SOPs, quality standards, and safety requirements. • Rotate between kitting and assembly workstations as needed. • Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs regularly. • Maintain a clean, organized work area following 5S standards. • Complete basic documentation and data entry using MS Excel and Word. • Meet production targets in a fast-paced environment. • Participate in required training and certifications. Required Skills
• 1+ year of mechanical assembly/manufacturing experience. Basic hand tools and power tools • Experience using hand tools (torque drivers, power tools, etc.). • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently. • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality processes. • Flexible and adaptable to changing production needs. • Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork. Preferred Qualifications
• First Aid certification (nice to have). • Comfortable working around machinery and moving equipment. • Willingness to wear PPE and ESD protection. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. Work Environment
• Clean manufacturing facility with a fast-paced production environment. • Exposure to noise, dust, metals, and manufacturing equipment. • Supportive team culture with opportunities for extension and growth.
