Job Title: Production Operator - 1st Shift, $22/hourJob DescriptionThis role is a hands-on production position within a chemical packaging facility. You will support the full production process by feeding materials onto the line, removing finished product, and assisting with housekeeping, shipping, and receiving.Responsibilities

• Feed raw materials and components onto the production line according to established procedures and safety standards. • Remove finished products from the production line, inspect for quality, and stage them for packaging, shipping, or storage. • Operate general production and packaging equipment, including machines used for mixing, blending, compounding, batching, and chemical operations as needed. • Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading materials and finished goods. • Safely operate a sit-down forklift to move materials, products, and pallets throughout the facility. • Maintain a clean and organized work area by performing regular housekeeping tasks around the production line and warehouse. • Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others. • Monitor basic quality checks during production and report any issues or irregularities to the appropriate personnel. • Work collaboratively with a small team of 3–5 people to support continuous production on a single production line. • Learn plant processes from experienced staff with the objective of taking on more responsibility and helping to run the plant operations over time. Essential Skills

• Previous experience in manufacturing or warehouse environments. • Strong safety awareness and commitment to following safety procedures. • Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift. • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. • Comfort working with production, manufacturing, and general machine operation tasks. • Ability to follow instructions, work independently after training, and support a continuous production process. • Basic understanding of quality considerations in a production or packaging environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with automation systems or automated production equipment. • Prior packaging experience, particularly with packaging equipment in a manufacturing setting. • Exposure to compounding, batching, chemical operations, mixing, or blending processes. • Familiarity with quality checks and procedures in a production environment. • Willingness to learn new equipment and processes and grow into lead or supervisory responsibilities over time. The environment is fairly climate controlled but can reflect outdoor temperatures when dock doors are open. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with occasional work after the regular shift as needed to support operations. You will work around production and packaging equipment, forklifts, and materials related to chemical packaging, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace. Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Heath, OH. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $49920.00/yr.
