About this role

Job Title: Production Worker on 2nd & 3rd shift!Responsibilities

• Assemble flooring and drop ceiling components by following written work instructions and using hand tools and a tape measure to ensure accurate measurements. • Inspect panels, tiles, and parts to verify they meet quality specifications while maintaining established production rates. • Read and follow Manufacturing Operating Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures without deviation unless properly approved. • Complete production reporting and quality documentation accurately and on time as required. • Use banding equipment and hand-jacks to move, secure, and store products and materials safely and efficiently. • Place materials such as panels or tiles into machines or onto conveyors in the prescribed manner and sequence to maintain a smooth flow of operations. • Perform trimming, indexing, and cutting procedures as needed to meet product specifications. • Monitor equipment operations and keep supervisors informed of any problems or equipment that is not operating properly. • Learn and develop a working knowledge of all equipment and machinery within the Understructure department. • Position parts correctly on equipment and monitor operations to produce products at established production standards. • Perform minor equipment setups, including changing plate sizes and setting up for various tube and stud sizes. • Maintain good housekeeping in the work area and follow established safety procedures at all times. • Follow all policies, procedures, and work instructions, including the Employee Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures, Manufacturing Operating Procedures, Job Safety Analysis, and Safety Manual. • Maintain awareness of your individual contribution to quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance activities. • Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the appropriate personnel promptly. • Work near moving mechanical parts while using hands and fingers to handle or feel machinery, equipment, and components safely. Essential Skills

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. • Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions accurately. • Ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce and communicate clearly with team members and supervisors. • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively without assistance during an 8-hour shift. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and crouch for an 8-hour shift in a production environment. • Ability to use hand tools and basic measuring instruments such as tape measures. • Comfort working near moving mechanical parts and using hands and fingers to handle machinery, equipment, or parts. • Experience performing general labor, production, and assembly tasks using hand and power tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and feeler gauges is a plus. • Previous experience with machine operation in a manufacturing or production environment is a plus. • Ability to learn and operate multiple types of production machinery within different departments. • Strong attention to detail for inspecting parts and completing production and quality paperwork accurately. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Red Lion, PA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.75 - $17.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
