Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianText Carson when you apply 513-702-3886***Job DescriptionAs a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for observing good housekeeping practices and ensuring the proper use and care of basic shop tools. You will also be tasked with the safe and proper use of acetylene torches for cutting and heating, as well as performing basic plumbing techniques and building maintenance. Your role will include repairing wire belt and plastic conveyors, and working with various mechanical and electrical systems.Responsibilities

• Observe good housekeeping practices at all times. • Properly use and care for basic shop tools, such as grinders, saws, drills, and bearing presses, and ensure all tools are replaced after use. • Safely and properly use acetylene torches for cutting and heating. • Perform basic plumbing techniques, including soldering pipes and cutting/gluing PVC. • Demonstrate the ability to replace basic component parts on equipment, such as valves, bearings, filters, and V-belts. • Perform basic building maintenance tasks, such as painting, cleaning, and building repairs. • Repair wire belt and plastic conveyors. • Possess working knowledge of chain/sprocket and belt/pulley systems, as well as flex and rigid coupling type drives, including the ability to break and splice various types of chain. Essential Skills

• Troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems. • Repair and preventive maintenance. • Understanding of hydraulics and pneumatics. • Electrical troubleshooting, particularly with low voltage electrical systems dealing with photo eyes and sensors. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• 1+ years of industrial maintenance experience or a trades school certificate in industrial maintenance. • Experience repairing and troubleshooting motors and gearboxes. • Conveyor experience is preferred. • Maintenance technicians are required to have their own tools. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
