Job Title: Welding Fabricator (Welder/Fitter – 3rd Shift)Job DescriptionThis direct placement role offers the opportunity to work as a Welding Fabricator on 3rd shift, contributing to the production of boom trucks and related components. You will use your MIG and TIG welding skills to fabricate and weld truck bodies, beds, and booms while maintaining high quality and safety standards.Responsibilities

• Perform MIG welding on steel components used in the fabrication of boom trucks, including truck bodies, beds, and booms. • Read and follow work instructions, drawings, or weld symbols to complete assigned fabrication and welding tasks accurately. • Fit, align, and position parts prior to welding to ensure proper dimensions and structural integrity. • Operate welding equipment and tools safely and efficiently during the 3rd shift schedule. • Inspect welds and fabricated assemblies to verify quality and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed. • Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures and guidelines. • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines. • Troubleshoot basic welding and fitting issues and communicate any equipment or material concerns promptly. Essential Skills

• Proven MIG welding experience on steel components. • Ability to weld structural parts such as truck bodies, truck beds, and booms. • Hands-on experience with welding and fabrication in a manufacturing or industrial environment. • Capability to work reliably on a 3rd shift schedule (Monday–Thursday, overnight). • Understanding of basic welding safety practices and proper use of welding equipment. Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with TIG welding. • Experience in fitting and fabrication for vehicle or heavy equipment manufacturing. • Familiarity with boom truck manufacturing or similar products. • Ability to read and interpret basic fabrication drawings or weld symbols. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
