Hiring Immediately Quality Inspectors In Carlsbad On 1st Shift $25 - $28/HR Job DescriptionThe quality inspector is responsible for performing incoming, in-process, and final inspections of components and assemblies according to control and quality plans. This role involves reviewing and approving final release documentation, maintaining quality records in line with company and GMP guidelines, and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming or production materials for conformance to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications. • Perform incoming tests of components and monitor for conformance to design or test specifications. • Accept or reject materials or articles; identify and document non-conformance and notify appropriate personnel. • Refer unusual inspection problems to supervision, lead, or Project Quality Engineer. • Utilize various measuring tools including electrical test sets, multimeters, plug-gages, micrometers, and calipers. • Assist in writing and updating inspection procedures, protocols, and checklists. • Transfer, release, or quarantine material physically according to inspection status. • Document and maintain inspection and test records. • Understand the importance of product conformity, lot numbers, and traceability. • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. • Complete necessary paperwork and documentation. Essential Skills
• Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and dimensions. • Proficiency in using basic measuring tools such as calipers and torque wrenches. • Experience with electrical test sets, multimeters, and vision measuring systems. • Experience working with ERP systems and data entry. • Proficiency with Outlook and MS Office. • Good communication and organizational skills. • Strong math fundamentals and comprehension of written work instructions. Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Knowledge of medical device manufacturing. • Understanding of GDP and GMP. • Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy. • Team player with flexibility to multitask. Work EnvironmentWork in a cleanroom environment with hours from 6am to 2:30pm, ensuring a structured and orderly atmosphere to perform precise tasks. Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
