What You'll Do We are looking for a driven and intellectually curious Talent Sourcing Specialist to join BCG's APAC Talent Acquisition team in Gurugram. In this role, you will lead proactive sourcing efforts for highpriority technology positions across India, with a strong focus on emerging and in-demand tech skill areas including Generative AI, Digital Product Management, Software Engineering, and other cutting-edge technology disciplines. Working in close partnership with Recruiters and Hiring Managers, you will own the end-to-end sourcing strategy — from market mapping and talent intelligence to candidate engagement and pipeline development — ensuring BCG continues to attract world-class technology talent.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
• Lead proactive sourcing for critical technology roles across BCG India, spanning Generative AI, Digital Product, Full-Stack Engineering, Data Science, Cloud & Infrastructure, and Platform Engineering. • Partner closely with Hiring Managers and Recruiters to define role requirements, ideal candidate profiles, and tailored sourcing strategies for each position. • Identify and engage both active and passive talent through direct outreach, social media platforms (LinkedIn, GitHub, Kaggle), talent communities, and professional networks. • Develop and execute market mapping and talent intelligence exercises to provide data-driven insights on talent availability, competitor hiring trends, and compensation benchmarks. • Build and manage robust, future-ready talent pipelines to support both immediate hiring needs and long-term workforce planning. • Articulate and champion the BCG employee value proposition compellingly across all candidate interactions, networking events, and brand-building activities. • Conduct initial screening and high-level assessment of candidates' technical knowledge, skills, and cultural fit. • Maintain accurate, real-time tracking of candidate pipelines within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and provide regular pipeline health reports to stakeholders.
TECHNOLOGY SKILL AREAS YOU'LL SOURCE FOR You will build deep expertise in sourcing talent across BCG's key technology hiring domains, including: • Generative AI & Large Language Models (LLMs) — Prompt Engineers, AI/ML Researchers, Applied AI Scientists • Digital Product Management — Product Managers, Product Owners, Agile Delivery Leads • Software Engineering — Full-Stack, Backend, Frontend, Mobile (iOS/Android) • Data & Analytics — Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers • Cloud & DevOps — Cloud Architects, Site Reliability Engineers (SREs), DevOps/Platform Engineers • Cybersecurity & Enterprise Technology — Security Engineers, ERP Specialists, IT Architects
What You'll Bring • 2–4+ years of talent acquisition or sourcing experience, with a strong track record in tech hiring — agency or in-house experience in professional services or consulting is a plus. • Proven expertise in sourcing for technology roles — ideally including GenAI, Digital Product, or Engineering talent. • Proficiency with modern sourcing tools and platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, Boolean search, talent intelligence tools (e.g., HireEZ, SeekOut). • Experience conducting talent mapping, competitor analysis, and market benchmarking exercises. • Strong candidate assessment skills with experience in competency/behavioural-based screening. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills — able to craft compelling outreach and articulate complex roles clearly. • High degree of organisation and the ability to manage multiple concurrent searches without compromising quality. • Creative problem-solver who can adapt sourcing strategies when conventional approaches don't yield results. • Bachelor's degree with strong academic achievement.
