We are seeking a highly skilledLead Automation QA Engineerto join our dynamic team in Cyprus, Nicosia, where we offer a hybrid work model with a mix of remote and on-site work at EPAM's office. In this role, you will focus on automated testing for web applications tailored for the insurance industry, playing a crucial part in delivering high-quality, reliable and scalable solutions.
#LI-DNI Responsibilities Design, develop and execute automation scripts specifically targeted to test REST API integrations and services using Java and appropriate tools like REST Assured Conduct functional testing to ensure that our back-end processes run seamlessly and meet client expectations, including tracing bugs and addressing issues Collaborate closely with the development team to synchronize automated tests with the end-to-end development lifecycle processes Participate actively in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development and deployment Constantly enhance your technical knowledge and skills by engaging in in-house and external courses, reading up-to-date material and experimenting with new tools Requirements 5+ years of professional automation test engineering experience 1+ year of relevant experience in a Lead role Proficiency in tools like REST Assured for testing REST APIs Solid Java coding skills Robust understanding of functional testing methodologies with a specific focus on back-end services Experience with CI/CD systems and a deep understanding of the software development lifecycle Fluent English skills Nice to have Experience with Azure DevOps for managing the SDLC and coordinating software building and testing efforts We offer Private healthcare insurance Regular performance assessments Family friendly initiatives Corporate Programs including Employee Referral Program with rewards Learning and development opportunities including in-house training and coaching, professional certifications, over 22,000 courses on LinkedIn Learning Solutions and much more *All benefits and perks are subject to certain eligibility requirements
