About this role

We are looking for a talented Field Service Power Generation Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution Business in White Bear Lake, MN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

Completing repair activities on generators or componentsEngaging with customers in a courteous and professional mannerPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviceAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own tools To be successful in this role you will need the following:

Broad mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance abilities.High Voltage / Low Voltage experience.Capable of electrical repair and maintenance with minimal supervision - hands on exposure to working on power generation products.Primarily engaged in preventative maintenance or basic repairs/diagnostics on generators.Basic Diesel Engine experience.Requires direct supervision and review of workmanship quality. Compensation and Benefits Base: Salary rate commensurate with experience. Education, Licenses, Certifications:

Apprentice Trained Power Generation/ Electrical Technician (Preferred)

Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution

Current relevant electrical certification

Locally valid driving permit

This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience:

Minimal level of workshop related experience required.

Basic level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products

High Voltage/ Low Voltage experience
