Residential Program Manager

About the Role

We’re seeking a Residential Program Manager who leads with compassion, communicates with confidence, and ensures high-quality, person-centered care.

In this role, you’ll oversee host home placements, family caregivers, and supported apartment services—supporting adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in safe, respectful, and compliant environments.

This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centered environment and can balance relationship-building with accountability and compliance.

To be considered for this role, you must complete the Culture Index Survey (link here). This is not a test - there are no right or wrong answers. It helps us build well-balanced teams and match people with roles where they can thrive.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee residential services and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations (HCPF, CDPHE, etc.)

• Oversee daily operations of an 11-bed Assisted Living Facility

• Supervise, coach, and support residential team members, setting a positive and accountable team culture

• Serve as a key point of contact for families, providers, case managers, and external partners

• Conduct unannounced home visits to ensure health, safety, and quality standards are met

• Maintain accurate documentation and prepare reports for audits, court hearings, and reviews

• Support and retain residential providers through mentorship, training, and ongoing communication

• Respond to emergencies and provide direct support as needed to ensure continuity of care

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support person-centered plans and client outcomes

• Ensure services are delivered in alignment with individual needs, rights, and safety standards

• Hire, train, and manage team members within the program

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)

• At least 2 years of experience in human services, case management, or a related field

• Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively in crisis situations

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

• Willingness to obtain and maintain required certifications (CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, etc.)

What Sets You Apart

• You lead with empathy while holding clear boundaries

• You stay calm under pressure and make thoughtful, informed decisions

• You’re highly organized and detail-oriented with documentation and compliance
